K. A. Maxwell lives in Canada, where the seasons are winter, winter,
winter and road construction. She shares her home with one boyfriend,
two ferrets and four chinchillas. She enjoys reading, writing and
hiding from winter.
When it comes to writing, she leans to the genres of sci-fi and
fantasy and prefers her stories to have humor and action. She enjoys
writing sexy tales, especially if it involves two handsome guys going
at it. It isn't for nothing that her first novel, Spacer's Luck, is an
adventurous erotic romance about an unlucky man framed for his uncle's
crimes and the space pirate willing to give him a hand--in more than
one sense.
K. A. Maxwell also has a special fondness for Japan. The picture on
the right was taken in Nara, where tame deer roam the city and
surround humans foolish enough to carry deer biscuits in plain view.
